This building has many of the hallmark characteristics of San Francisco architecture including the open air entry staircase and the decorative cornice at the roof line. However, this apartment building had gone about 10 years without a new coat of paint. When we first saw this building in person, we knew that a fresh paint job would bring it back to life and re-establish it as a great addition to this San Francisco neighborhood.
The client was unsure about which colors to choose for the building, so our co-founder Rich DeMartini helped guide her toward this appealing combination of light gray with dark gray and lime green accents. The light gray includes a trace of blue that gives the building a hint of color. The dark gray used on the accents around the building help to frame the primary paint color, and the light green on the decorative cornice brings some personality to the roofline of the building.
This medium-sized project included a four-man crew who completed the painting project in just 12 days. That quick turnaround caused minimal disruption for the occupants.
The client was very pleased with the new look, as the fresh coats of paint brought new life to the building. If you have a home in the San Francisco bay area that could benefit from a new paint job, drop us a line and we’ll start working on your free painting quote.
