As he finished painting the back steps, it started raining; he and his fellow workers covered and secured a plastic drop cloth to protect them.

Thanks again for everything and be assured that I will highly recommend you as you were highly recommended to me and Joe Testa. He awaits your telephone call when you return from vacation; have a wonderful and safe trip.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for a job well done. Rene and his team were great to work with and they all seemed to go one step further to make their work not only good but extra fine. In my day-to-day interfacing with them I clearly got the feeling that they were treating my property as if it were their own - with care and respect. I know that you are proud to have such well trained and professional men in your business.
 
Also, I want to thank you for being so supportive, easy going, and effective in working with this project of 15 individual home owners, and their residences.

Thank you very much for a fantastic job well done. Your crew was very thorough in the preparation for and application of the paint. They did extras like painting the house numbers and the lighting. They were very respectful and willing to attend to anything that was asked of them.
 
James was remarkable, a truly good person. It was a pleasure to have him on the premises.

Per attached invoice, enclosed is the final payment of $6715.00 for the painting job at the above address. Your painting crew did a super job on this project. They showed up on time, were very professional in the performance of their duties, were responsive to any unforeseen conditions that arose, and were courteous to all concerned. Your foreman, Juan, was extremely competent and did an outstanding job coordinating the project and supervising the crew.
 
Please convey my compliments to all of the crew on a job safely completed, well done, on time, and within budget. We own other properties in the areas as well as our own residence and will definitely keep your company in mind for any future painting jobs.

RE: Painting 1367 Union Street interior

 
Dear Rich,

We selected your firm to paint the interior of our flat because you presented the best, most complete and lowest proposal; and let’s face it, you’re a hellava salesman.

It was a pleasure to deal with you during the preliminary work -- color selection, samples and so on. You always arrived on time and conducted your business efficiently, with good advice and good humor.

You showed up Monday morning and introduced me to the foreman, Enrique and we toured the flat to clarify where the colors were to stop and start. Uncharacteristically, we used 11 different colors and to add to possible confusion, the ceilings in the main spaces were to be darker than the walls. You noted in an email on the final day:

After you left, Enrique introduced me to his crew. I don’t remember their names, but I was taken by what a cheerful, friendly and industrious group they were.

My wife and I wisely took your advice and stayed in a hotel during the process, but I was here each morning to let your crew in. The process seemed steady, thorough and flawless, and I learned that your guys were talented, as well. The tall, outgoing Filipino guy mentioned that he paints murals in the Mission as an avocation. The job was complete a little ahead of schedule on Thursday a little after noon; the furniture back in place and the carpet vacuumed.  In short, great job at a fair price.
