Thank you for your outstanding service!  It was wonderful to see a company stand behind there guarantee and be so pleasant during the process.  As a reminder, four years ago your company painted my home on Lewis Avenue.  Recently the paint bubbled up and chipped in several places.  I called your company and Brett came over promptly and arranged to have a skilled painter repair the problems and my home looks great!   You stood behind your five year guarantee and did an outstanding repair.

I find it very refreshing to see a company do such good work – and follow up when a problem occurs.  I mentioned your outstanding service to several friends and I know you have a least one new customer as a result (Parkell in S.F.)  I will continue to spread the word about such a reputable company.

RE: Painting 1367 Union Street interior

Dear Rich,

We selected your firm to paint the interior of our flat because you presented the best, most complete and lowest proposal; and let’s face it, you’re a hellava salesman.

It was a pleasure to deal with you during the preliminary work -- color selection, samples and so on. You always arrived on time and conducted your business efficiently, with good advice and good humor.

You showed up Monday morning and introduced me to the foreman, Enrique and we toured the flat to clarify where the colors were to stop and start. Uncharacteristically, we used 11 different colors and to add to possible confusion, the ceilings in the main spaces were to be darker than the walls. You noted in an email on the final day:

“In all the years that I have been painting I have NEVER seen anyone do the ceilings darker than the walls, my guys are blown away (as am I) at how utterly great that it looks!!!! Great job Marcus!!!”

After you left, Enrique introduced me to his crew. I don’t remember their names, but I was taken by what a cheerful, friendly and industrious group they were.

My wife and I wisely took your advice and stayed in a hotel during the process, but I was here each morning to let your crew in. The process seemed steady, thorough and flawless, and I learned that your guys were talented, as well. The tall, outgoing Filipino guy mentioned that he paints murals in the Mission as an avocation. The job was complete a little ahead of schedule on Thursday a little after noon; the furniture back in place and the carpet vacuumed.  In short, great job at a fair price.

Wow! Your team surpassed my expectations. Never, in the 35 years that I have owned my home, has it looked so fresh, crisp and new.  I know it was a huge undertaking, but the end results reflect the hard work and determination of your workers.  Rich is a superb leader. Each fellow on the team takes a professional and proprietary interest in the success of the project.  From the initial onset to the final cleanup, everything was quality.  I want to thank each member of the team for their hard work and dedication. Everyone was pleasant and courteous.  You assured me of the best and certainly delivered.  Any future customers you attain, that may have any reservations, may feel free to call or visit and see the proof.  I have photos of the various stages of the project that reflect how my new home was transformed from tawdy and shabby to vibrant and clean.  Rick reassured me that anything I may notice, in the future, will have his immediate attention. That is customer satisfaction.  On a separate note, a friend came to visit and was suddenly confused. Was she on the right court? She had second thoughts because she did not recognize my house. She called on her cell for verification. When we got together she told me how wonderful the house looked.  My neighbors are equally dazzled.

I want to thank you for your recent work. As a refresher, you painted my house about 2 years ago. It looked great and I was totally satisfied.  The weather this past winter was brutal and particularly hard on my house. As a result, there were several places where the paint cracked or chipped. I called your office and within a short period of time you had someone out to fix the spots. There was no hassle – your folks just came and promptly fixed the problem. As you recall, prior to contacting with your company, we had hired a contractor who had assured us that we were fully capable of preparing and staining our new, absolutely clean wood windows, doors, and custom wood moldings. After one day on the job by the contractor, we were forced to dismiss them because of the disastrous results we saw in their work. We were convinced that our beautiful wood windows, doors, and custom made wood moldings had been permanently ruined. You assured us that your company could restore our windows, doors and trim to a restainable condition. I just bought a duplex in Russian Hill--built in 1909 and built to the lot line on all sides. It was a true 'Irish Contractor' special, which is to say everything that you could see looked great, and everything you can't see had been ignored.

The back of my house had been neglected for decades and desperately needed painting & repair. I also had a...ehem...'difficult' neighbor to the rear who did not want painters & scaffolding in his back yard. ENTER RICH DEMARTINI TO THE RESCUE!

Rich's team, lead by Juan Lorenzo, did an excellent job working with bosun's chairs to patch & paint all three sides of the house. The team took every precaution to protect the neighbor's property and cleaned up the work site each day--no mess, no paint chips, no worries. My neighbor had nothing to complain about upon completion of the project.

Efficient, well-priced, a pleasure to do business with--I recommend Demartini Arnott Painting and will use them again in the future!
